This wage sharing scheme has been set up to respond to our employer’s decision to deduct 50% of the salary of comrades who participate in the MAB. The aim of the scheme is to compensate some of the loss that comrades face. It complements the contributions from UCU Fighting fund.

The amount we will be able to compensate will depend on the number of pledges that have come in. It is key to ask comrades and colleagues who support the action, but are not MABbing, to pledge https://www.keeleucu.co.uk/action/mab/.

At the moment, you are entitled to apply for 9 days from UCU Fighting Fund (https://my.ucu.org.uk/app/answers/detail/a_id/543). We will endeavour to cover as much of the rest as possible.
