On 29 September, UCU announced it would be balloting members on strike action following unsuccessful attempts to get guarantees from UUK that they would seek a more reasonable valuation of the scheme. The ballot opened on 1 October and closes on 20 October. Please see our USS Pensions page for further information on the dispute.
